Breast Cancer Screening


  • Screening enables you to find out if you have a particular disease or condition even if you do not have any symptoms and/or signs of disease. Early detection means that you can get early treatment, resulting in better outcomes.

  • The Breast Cancer Screening involves performing a mammogram which is an x-ray machine that will take pictures of your breast to detect breast cancer.

  • Eligibility:

    a.    Any women who are Brunei citizens and permanent residents aged 40-69 years 
    b.    No known history of breast cancer
    c.    No previous history of breast disease
    d.    Not been screened by mammogram in the last 3 years
